Do you show integrity to God?

The values you act upon reveal your A, B, C’s (attitude, behavior and consequences). It’s easy to say you value God higher than yourself and others, but when you show it, you don’t have to tell anyone. Your decisions made in agreement with the principles of a holy, righteous, just and loving God are backed by the power of the Holy Spirit (C  = E  ) so the good you set your mind to do, happens. As you answer these questions, think about your personal description of God. Does your definition and expectations fall in line with the truth described in the Bible or are you guilty of wishful thinking? Revisit Appendix 1D.

1.   In what ways does your attitude and actions demonstrate that, “you do it all for the glory of God” (God the               Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit) or do you do it all for your glory (me, myself and I)?

     See 1 Corinthians 10:23, 10:31)?

2.  Do you rearrange your life’s priorities now that you are aware that Christ’s role in your life is not just to bring           you to everlasting spiritual life but to mold your physical personality and behavior so you walk with integrity to       God and achieve divinely permitted results? (Revisit "Intentional Value-Based Decision-Making"). Consider;

  • Do you align your will - desires, thoughts, behavior - to those of a holy and good God?

  • Do you pray before planning or do you ask God to bless your plan and help you walk it out?

  • Do you surrender all or just some of the compartments of your life (only the ones that overwhelm you)?

3.  Do you take on the character of God and treat people with love and justice, expressing mercy, grace and                 forgiveness to yourself as well as others instead of letting anger, sadness, fear, and/or worry infect your

     decisions about how you interact with others? (Revisit page 2 of Appendix 1G).

4.  Does the shame of your past or the weight of your emotions infect your Attitude and Behaviors and prevent             you from living free in the present, and how does this attitude shape your outlook towards the future?

     (Revisit "Encouraging and Protecting your Peace".)

5. Summarize your personal description of God. What character trait and/or skill will you try to incorporate into your attitude and/or behavior?
