The workbook section of the CYNN program provides you with exercises that you can use to structure your alone time. Spend this time doing the self-reflective exercises so you can design strategies and even solve potential problems as you re-enter a diverse social environment. Embrace and then reframe loneliness so you use this transition time to build up your confidence. Hold tightly to the hand of God as you journey through this phase. Be patient and trust God’s process and timing. Solidify your new normal lifestyle habits rather than trying to walk down a familiar sidewalk with a hole in it (revisit the poem in the Introduction tab to this web site)! Actively seeking the Lord and a mentor during this time will limit your anxious feelings. Learn more about choosing a mentor at https://www.createyournewnormal.org/personal-support .
When preparedness meets opportunity, what you envisioned can happen! Be prepared to fully express the Holy Spirit in public so you achieve the new normal you imagined was possible with God, D(A+B) = C , (revisit Appendix 1L & Appendix 1M). Make the choice to leave your unproductive habits behind and rely on the Holy Spirit to guide your behavior so you can become an optimistic Christian, regardless of circumstances (McPherson, M., (2018, p 165).
